Full Story on Jamion Christian Leaving Siena for Another School

With Jamion Christian gone, now is the time for the Siena Saints to make a list of top candidates. In fact, the recognizable applicants could be qualified to become the team’s new head coach for the 2019 Season. Former Siena head coach Christian will join George Washington for the same position. In fact, Jamion Christian will replace Maurice Jospeh, who was fired earlier in March. He will depart Siena after just one season and a 17-16 overall record (11-7 in the Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference). The Siena Saints will be looking for a new basketball head coach for the second straight year as the program fired Jimmy Patsos in 2018. Jamion Christian spent the previous six seasons at Mount St. Mary’s before joining Siena to replace Patsos in 2018.

Christian became the sixth men’s basketball head coach to lose his job in 2019. Mercer fired Bob Hoffman as head coach after eleven seasons while William & Mary parted ways with Tony Shaver. Full Story on Bill Kennedy Being Fired as Texas A&M Head Coach

With Bill Kennedy gone, now is the time for the Texas A&M Aggies to make a list of top candidates. In fact, the recognizable applicants could be qualified to become the team’s new head coach for the 2019 Season. Texas A&M will fire Kennedy after eight seasons and a 151-116 overall record (66-78 in the Southeastern Conference “SEC”). At the time of the firing in 2019, the Aggies were 14-18 overall and 6-12 in the conference. The program has not been to the Men’s NCAA Tournament since its Sweet Sixteen run during the 2017-2018 season. Bill Kennedy guided the team to two NCAA Tournaments (2015-2016 and 2017-2018), one NIT appearance (2014-2015) and one trip to the CBI (2013-2014).

Full Story on Saul Phillips Being Fired as Ohio Bobcats Head Coach

With Saul Phillips gone, now is the time for the Ohio Bobcats to make a list of top candidates. In fact, the recognizable applicants could be qualified to become the team’s new head coach for the 2019 Season. Ohio will part ways with Phillips after five seasons and a 81-77 overall record (40-50 in the Mid-American Conference). At the time of the firing in 2019, the Ohio Bobcats were 14-17 overall and 6-12 in the conference. The program has not been to the Men’s NCAA Tournament since its run to the Sweet Sixteen in 2012. Saul Phillips led the team to the 2016 College Basketball Invitation and two 20+ win seasons (2015-2016 and 2016-2017).
